Bought this for my husband and I and for my parents. It is very sleek looking, and is so much fun to use. Just put your hand right in front of it and it opens. A couple seconds later the lid automatically closes. I think this is a great buy compared to all the other stainless steel trash cans out there! And if you have a dog that knows how to stand in front of it to open it, you can switch the button in the back so that it has to be opened manually instead. The only negative about it is that the area to put the trash in is a little small, so you cannot put large objects in it, but that is really the only negative I have found with it. Everything else is great.
