It's a bit harder to program than seems necessary and it is inconsistent in accepting the fingerprints that are put into it. Sometimes it takes several tries to get it to take a print and open up. You also have a code, but it requires 8 no.s and you only have 4 nos to work with, so, for me, it can't be my usual and is a bit hard to remember. Also, the deadbolt (maybe this was the installation) sometimes seems to block the door from closing for several tries. Did not have the issue with the prior lock. My last complaint about it that prevents me from giving it 4 stars or more is that I'm worried about the battery. Maybe just me, but because I have trouble with the printing feature, I keep wondering if the battery is giving out. And then there is a spare key, but....well, just a worry.

On the flip side, it's very James Bond and ultra-techie-cool. It was also easy to install. I got it because I lose or leave keys behind or inside all the time and this seems to solve that problem and secure the house.
